Mr Hogan’s taking aim at the major supermarkets, saying retailers are misusing their power to undercut local farmers and small businesses.
He also says regional motorists are being gouged when they fill up at the bowser.
“In fact in my region for the last five weeks it has been 40 cents higher than a capital city 2 hours away. With very little public transport options in the country and the larger distance travelled, it’s a huge impost on people and regional economies.”
Mr Hogan says he’ll continue to work with all parties to ensure the Royal Commission goes ahead.
