CALLUM OFF TO A FLYING START AT WORLD JUNIORS

North Coast boardrider Callum Robson is off to a flying start at the World Juniors in Taiwan.

Finding a decent score was difficult in the small conditions for the Evans Head product…but he rode two waves in the five-point range to push himself into the lead.

A late response from South Africa’s Luke Thompson saw the natural footer knocked back to second.

Robson will face fellow Aussie surfer Kai Tandler in round two in the coming days.
