Submissions on the planned bypass of Coffs Harbour have now closed, with more than 600 comments lodged by Coffs locals.
The bypass has been embroiled in controversy since plans were released which did NOT include tunnels as first proposed.

The Bypass is due to commence construction by 2020. Many of the submissions were in relation to getting the tunnels back into consideration because that option was removed before the necessary reports were done. Getting the tunnels back into consideration won’t delay the project just make sure that the best option is obtained for Coffs Harbour
