A man has been charged over an horrific domestic violence attack at Casino overnight.
The 24-year-old was allegedly in the middle of an argument with a 23-year-old woman at around 2am, when he poured a bottle of petrol over her and threatened to set her alight.
He then allegedly produced a knife and chased the woman, before punching her and pulling her hair.
Police later took the man into custody, but were forced to use pepper spray when a group of males attempted to prevent his arrest.
