A woman has been charged and four others arrested as part of a four day cannabis eradication operation in the New England.
More than 4,100 plants were seized, 542 of those allegedly belonging to the woman.
Six kilograms of dried leaf and another kilo of cannabis resin were also allegedly seized..
Officers estimate the potential street value could have tipped $8.3-million.
Searches were conducted in the eastern part of the New England Police District, particularly around Glen Innes and Tenterfield.
