DRAFT MASTER PLAN FOR TAMWORTH ENTERPRISE AREA NOW ON SHOW

A master plan for the brand-new Tamworth Enterprise Area has been revealed.

Community members can have their say on the draft plan as it goes on exhibition, ahead of the project’s construction in Westdale.

With the intermodal freight hub recently given a multi-million dollar boost from the state government, the projects are expected to raise Tamworth’s profile.

“One of the big things we heard from the public, particularly residents in Westdale, was to protect Marathon Street from any industrial development, and that’s one of the big features of this plan- there is no access off Marathon Street.”

The community will have until the 17th of December to provide feedback.
