STRONG RESULT FOR SOLI BAILEY IN HAWAII

Suffolk Park boardrider Soli Bailey scored his best result of the year at the QS 10,0000 event at Haleiwa.

The 23-year-old knocked out in the quarters, in a heat dominated by Brazilian Deivid Silva.

Bailey will now head to the Vans World Cup at Sunset Beach next week.

Lennox Head surfer Stu Kennedy was eliminated in round three.
