TWO KEMPSEY MEN CHARGED OVER VEHICLE AND PROPERTY THEFT
Two men will front court after a ute was allegedly stolen and used in a break and enter on the Mid North Coast.
Police say the ute was stolen from a property in South Kempsey last Sunday, and used in an alleged break-in at Dondingalong, 30km south-west of Kempsey.
Televisions and artworks were stolen during the break-in.
On Tuesday this week, the ute was found near Burnt Bridge, south of Kempsey, and police subsequently arrested a 33-year-old man at a home on Albert Street in South Kempsey on Thursday.
He was charged with trespassing offences and aggravated break and enter.
A 23-year-old man was also arrested at a home on Clarence Ryan Avenue in West Kempsey on Thursday.
He was also charged with trespassing offences, in addition to an assault charge following a domestic violence-related offence at a property in South Kempsey on Thursday.
Both men will appear at Kempsey Local Court in December.
