GAV’S WEATHER: RAIN BAND SLOWLY MOVING NORTH

Cloudy over the country, as the NW moisture feeds in via the upper level jet stream conveyor.

Hot and partly cloudy for northern NSW as the cloud begins to engulf the state.

Rain will start to spill in across the local region overnight. Good falls will extend to the NW. The heat will be cleared from NE NSW but the region won’t receive as much rain.

Rain will build across the Greater Hunter, MNC and NW overnight, as the system slowly tracks north. It will weaken so areas such as the Northern Rivers and SE QLD won’t see as much rain.
