FIREFIGHTERS PRAISED AFTER NORTHERN RIVERS BLAZE

Fire fighters have been praised for their quick response, after stopping the spread of a fire in Alstonville’s CBD in the early hours of Friday morning.

Crews were called to Main Street just after midnight when a fire broke out in the Century 21 real estate agency.

Luckily the fire was contained to the business, with police now investigating the cause.
