NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUE BETWEEN UNION AND BINDAREE BEEF
Bindaree Beef has upped its offer to workers calling for a pay rise, a week after the Meat Workers Union took industrial action.
The company has offered a 2-percent rise and a four-year deal, while the union has been lobbying for 3.5-percent and a three-year deal.
They say overtime bans and rolling stoppages will continue.
Negotiations are continuing in good faith, with management and union representatives set to meet again next week.
