Saturday’s result in the National Rugby Championship decider, exposing the 18-year-old to the highs and lows of a the professional game.
With Fiji hosting the NRC grand final, Queensland Country went down 36 to 26, ending its hopes of claiming back-to-back titles.
Wilson will now turn his attention to next year’s Super Rugby season, having recently signed a two-year deal with the Queensland Reds.
