MAN STABBED IN DOMESTIC DISPUTE NEAR GRAFTON

A teenager will appear in court today, charged with stabbing a man at Kungala on the state’s mid-north coast.

It’s alleged around 12.30 last night, the 18-year-old went to a home on Omega Drive.

Police say following an altercation, he punched and stabbed a 44-year-old man at the property.

The two are known to each other.

The older man suffered a laceration to his chin and was taken to Grafton Base Hospital for surgery.

The 18-year-old was treated for injuries to his hand at the same hospital and was later arrested.

He’s been granted conditional bail to face Grafton Local Court today.
