GAV’S WEATHER: HOT AND DRY START TO NOVEMBER

The weekend saw overcast and wet conditions in south-east Queensland and north-east New South Wales.

East of the divide, it was cloudy and hot, and sunny inland over the north-west.

A large, slow-moving high is sliding out over the Tasman and Coral Seas.

This is going to allow the hot air from central Australia to drift our way in the coming days.

Only Queensland will see rain, but it will clear from the Gold Coast from tomorrow.

Temperatures are on the rise, making for a hot dry start to the first week of November.
