ELDERLY ALSTONVILLE MAN DIES FOLLOWING TRACTOR ACCIDENT

An 80-year-old man has died after a machinery accident in the state’s far north on Thursday morning.

Around 8.45am, emergency services were called to Leadbeatters Lane at Alstonville.

Once ambulance officers arrived, they located an elderly man deceased under a piece of machinery.

Investigations are continuing.
