SEVERE STORMS TO HIT NORTHERN NSW

A severe weather warning is in place for parts of northern New South Wales.

The Bureau of Meteorology say a severe thunderstorm is on it’s way – likely to bring large hailstones and damaging winds on Wednesday afternoon.

It’s likely to affect the Tamworth, Gunnedah, Dorrigo, Quirindi, Mullaley and Bendemeer regions.

The SES recommends moving cars under shelter or away from trees, securing loose items in your yard, and unplugging computers or appliances.
