SIX THROWN FROM BOAT OFF BRUNSWICK HEADS

Six people have escaped uninjured, after their boat capsized on the state’s Far North Coast.

It’s understood the vessel was around 12 nautical miles off Brunswick Heads when it flipped at around 11:30 this morning, leaving the group floating in the water.

A nearby fishing vessel located the group, and took them back to shore.

Authorities are now warning of a navigation hazard, with the seven-metre vessel upturned, and believed to be floating south.
