Newcastle could be on the brink of hosting its first official Super Rugby game, with the Waratahs to make a major announcement tomorrow at McDonald Jones Stadium.
The location of three Tahs home games are yet to be confirmed for next season.
New South Wales last appeared in Newcastle in a trial against the Fiji Warriors in 2009.
