TWO HOMES COMPLETELY DESTROYED IN LENNOX HEAD FIRE

Two homes have been destroyed by fire on the New South Wales Far North Coast.

Fire crews were called to Survey Street at Lennox Head at around 1 o’clock this morning, after reports a house was well alight.

The blaze spread to a neighbouring home, with a total of seven people evacuated.

A 28-year-old man, who lived in one of the houses, was taken to Lismore Base Hospital for minor smoke inhalation.

Two police officers also suffered smoke inhalation, but didn’t require any treatment

Police are now investigating.
