SERVO ROBBERY AT FORRESTERS BEACH

Police are investigating after two men robbed a Forresters Beach service station with a hammer early this morning.

At around 3:30, two men forced their way in to the Caltex outlet and threatened staff, before fleeing on foot with cash and cigarettes.

They were last seen heading west towards Bellevue Road.

The first man is described as having a slim build, around 168 centimetres tall, and was wearing a hooded jumper and a black and white scarf covering his face.

The second was wearing dark coloured clothing.
