An eleventh hour attempt has been launched by boarding house landlord Aaron Buman to save 55 men from eviction at three non-compliant boarding houses in Newcastle.
Mr Buman’s legal representatives have written to Newcastle Council in a final bid to buy more time, as his tenants continue to search for emergency accomodation.
The evictions are due to come into effect from midnight.
