A man who was killed in a hit and run at Glenridding near Singleton last week has been identified as a helicopter pilot from New Zealand.
Police say 44-year-old Ian Pullen was in Newcastle to provide assistance during bushfire season.
His body was discovered on Carrington Road on Saturday morning, and so far, no one has come forward to claim responsibility for the incident.
