Police are appealing for witnesses to an early morning assault at Terrigal around a fortnight ago.
The 21 year old victim and his friends were standing outside a licensed venue near The Esplanade, at around 1:45 A-M on Saturday September 15, when he was attacked by another male.
“Unfortunately that person lost consciousness at the scene and resulted in serious injuries and a bleed on the brain. That person I can say is now fine and recovered from those injuries to some degree.
“We believe the offender may be between 18 and 22 years of age. He’s a stocky build, caucasian and we believe at the time he may have been wearing a football jersey or sports jersey.”
