ANDREW DODT WINS BELMONT PRO AM BY TWO SHOTS

Charlestown’s Andrew Dodt has won the Belmont Pro Am by two shots.
Toronto’s Nathan Green had the round of the day to finish in a tie for fourth.
Dodt admits he’s been struggling on the European Tour this year, but he defied that form today.
Starting the second and final round three shots behind top spot, he produced a 67 to blitz the field.
Overnight leader Dale Brandt-Richards stumbled on day two, carding a 77 to drop to 19th.
It was a similar story for Aaron Townsend, Callan O’Reilly and Nick Flanagan, who all dropped out of the top 10.
But none of those golfers struggled quite as much as our very own Samuel Djodan, who’s potentially still looking for his ball after his tee shot on 16.
