REDUNDANT ‘DARBY’S PIES’ STAFF OWED ENTITLEMENTS

Another Newcastle institution has closed its doors for good – Darby’s Pies shutting its shops today, after trading for almost half a century.

The closure has left more than 100 employees jobless and owed entitlements, with liquidators now trying to salvage anything they can.
