SHOULDER CHARGE SET TO RULE SLATER OUT OF GRAND FINAL
Billy Slater will need to beat a grade one charge at the judiciary to be any chance of playing in Sunday’s NRL Grand Final.
The Match Review Committee handing the star fullback a 200 point penalty over a shoulder charge in the 14th minute of last night’s preliminary final against Cronulla.
If the 35-year-old’s appeal is unsuccessful it will see him ruled out of the premiership decider.
It’s understood the hearing may be brought forward to ensure the least disruption ahead of the decider.
