APPEAL FOR INFORMATION AFTER ASSUALT AT HUNTER VALLEY RAILWAY STATION

Police have released a number of CCTV images, in the hope of tracking down a man linked to an assault at Maitland Railway Station last weekend that saw a 45-year-old man kicked and punched in the face.

Police say the incident happened in the early hours of Saturday morning and the injured man was treated by paramedics.

Officers are now hoping to speak with a man of Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, with fair skin, and short light brown/ginger hair.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
