ARMIDALE TEACHERS QUESTION FEDERAL GOVERNMENT FUNDING
The Armidale Teachers Association has welcomed the state government’s rejection of today’s private school funding announcement.
It’s long been calling for a reversal to the federal government’s $1.9-billion cuts.
President Michael Sciffer is questioning why it hasn’t happened by now, if they can find $4.6-billion for private schools.
Mr Sciffer says New England teachers have vowed to keep pushing for fair funding for all students in the lead up to the next election.
