TEENS JAILED AFTER BRUTAL MOREE HOME INVASION

Two teenagers will spend time behind bars for bashing an elderly Moree woman during a home invasion.

The teens were convicted of aggravated break and enter and wounding when they stormed the property on Boland Drive last year.

The older of the pair – now 18 years old – was sentenced to six years jail.

He’ll be eligible for parole in December 2022.

While a 13-year-old has been sentenced to three years and nine months.
