KEMPSEY AIRPORTS FLY NEIGHBOURLY AGREEMENT PREPARES FOR TAKEOFF
Specialists consultants have been brought in to look at the impacts of noise generated by planes and assess potential flight paths at Kempsey Airport.
Last month, the Airport Group began drafting a ‘noise management plan’ and a ‘fly neighbourly agreement,’ after being awarded a contract.
Kempsey Shire Council says the process should help to address the balance of airport operations and the impacts on residents.
It’s expected the drafts will be tabled at a council meeting in November before being placed on public exhibition.
