After more than a decade of planning, it seems a multi-million dollar business park at Armidale Airport could soon become a reality.
Armidale Regional Council is still waiting on $6.5-million in funding to be approved by the state government, but at least four potential investors have put up their hands in the meantime.
“I’m in discussion with a number of investors right now from out of town and in town to grow our city, so it bodes well for Armidale, we’re really on a bit of a boom I reckon, so we’ll watch this space as they say.”
Council says a new hotel and service station are high up on the list of ideas for the project.
