CHATHAM WOLVES CLAIM NINTH CONSECUTIVE HOCKEY PREMIERSHIP

To hockey now, and Chatham have claimed their ninth consecutive premiership win after downing Port Thunder 5-1 in Taree.

The Wolves dominated from the opening whistle, with the Thunder unable to score in the first-half.

“Coming into the second half they just had it over us at the end of the day. Got another couple of goals in, we got one.” – Bryce Philpott, Port Thunder.

Chatham Co-Captain Dylan Turner was quietly confident his side could pull off the win.

“We’re a very fast team, players like Wayde Harry, Matt Doherty in the middle and Luke Hough upfront we can break, we’re very good at holding and breaking” – Dylan Turner, Chatham Wolves.
