HUGE FUNDING BOOST FOR COMMUNITY PROJECTS ON THE COAST

Six Central Coast community projects have received a share of $5-million in state government funding.

Among them, Wyong Lakes Football Club – which has been waiting on a new clubhouse to replace its last one, after it burned down almost six years ago.

A new facility will be built at the club’s homeground, Don Small Oval at Tacoma.

Other recipients include Woy Woy’s Penisula Leisure Centre, which will be getting a new outdoor water-park, while a ‘cultural hub’ will be established at Wyong.
