FORMER TAS EMPLOYEE TO BE SENTENCED NEXT WEEK
A former employee of The Armidale School will be sentenced next week, in relation to sexual offences that took place at the school in 2015.
The female staff member had a sexual relationship with a number of students.
A suppression order concealing the school’s name was lifted yesterday.
The teacher’s identity remains suppressed for the protection of the students.
In a statement, the school’s Headmaster Murray Guest said he “sincerely regrets the school’s procedures were not enough to prevent criminal conduct.”
