GAV’S WEATHER: FINE AHEAD OF A LITTLE RAIN

Most of the nation is still sunny and very dry. A large swell is hitting the southern NSW coast, with some of it spilling northwards thanks to the low in the southern Tasman.

The low in the southern Tasman will start to cross over to NZ. The southerly winds will ease and the swell for the east coast will also back off.

The front moving towards the SE will deliver more good rain to southern Australia, but again have little left in it by the time it reaches us.

So another warm and mostly sunny day on the way locally, after another icy start for inland communities.
