The girls kicked-off the Australian University Sevens series in Hobart on Saturday, with the Lions winning one of their five matches.
A 39-nil win over the University of Melbourne highlighting the Lions’ try-scoring ability, with their four losses all came by the narrowest of margins.

The next tournament of the series will be held at the University of Canberra on September 8.
