BOLT MAKES GUEST APPEARANCE AT JETS V MARINERS TRIAL

The world’s fastest man, Usain Bolt, was an interested spectator at this afternoon’s friendly between the Central Coast Mariners and the Newcastle Jets at Maitland.

Bolt didn’t see game time, but there was still plenty of action for the thousands of fans in attendance.

The Mariners opened the scoring as a Jack Clisby free kick tricked young keeper Noah James.

The Jets hit back, as Jason Hoffman found the net at the back post.

Maitland boy Ben Kennedy was doing his best to keep his former club at bay.

While James made up for the earlier goal with a great save, the two eventually finished locked at two-all.
