120 keen golfers from Queensland to Victoria will tee off at this weekend’s Island Classic at Nambucca Heads.
The three-day event for men and women begins Friday with the deciding rounds to be played Saturday and Sunday.
The town’s iconic Island golf course ran into financial trouble a few years ago, but organisers say the event is helping it to recover.
