TWO PEOPLE KILLED IN HUNTER VALLEY CRASH

A 20-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man have died, after the car they were travelling in collided with a ute west of Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley.

It’s believed the Commodore sedan was turning at the intersection of Wybong Road and Bengalla Road at Castle Rock, at around 6:30 last night, when it collided with a Ford ute.

The sedan’s driver and passenger died at the scene, while the driver of the ute, a 35-year-old man suffered lacerations to his face.

He was taken to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital for treatment.
