WOMAN FACES HIGH-RANGE DRINK DRIVING CHARGES FOLLOWING CRASH

A 27-year-old woman has been charged with high-range drink driving after allegedly smashing a car into the garage of a Yattalunga home overnight.

Police say she crossed lanes onto the wrong side of Bourke Avenue before the end of the cul-de-sac, driving through garden beds and crashing into the building around 7pm.

The driver has then reversed into a Subaru that was parked in the driveway.

Her licence has been suspended and is due to front Gosford Court at a later date.
