FIRE CREWS BATTLING BLAZE SOUTH OF CASINO

A watch and act warning has been put in place for a bushfire burning at Ellangowan south of Casino.

The fire is burning in the vicinity of Wrench’s Road and Ellangowan Road.

Residents in the area are urged to activate their bushfire survival plan.

A second watch and act has been put in place for a fire burning further south near West Bungawalbin.

    Here are some photos taken within the last hour of bushfire at Coraki-Ellangowan road .Following the intensity of strong winds the bushfire has now been declared at emergency status for residents of Lagoon Road , Reynolds road and Coraki-Casino Road .
