Police are treating a blaze which destroyed three boats in Nelson Bay this morning as suspicious.
Around 2.40am, emergency services were called to D’albora Marina on Teramby Road, following reports three boats were alight.
The blaze was extingushed quickly, but all three vessels were destroyed, with two sinking.
Two boats moored nearby were also extensively damaged.
Officers remain at the scene to manage the removal of debris from the water.
An investigation is underway.
