GAV’S WEATHER: SHORT-LIVED RAIN MOVING THROUGH

Most of the nation is again sunny and very dry, with a front now making its way across New South Wales. It’s weakening as it reaches the east coast. Rain from it has maxed out around 10 to 15mm. The front will cross the state overnight, with the totals from this system expected to be small.

What’s in behind it though is not what we want. Another large blocking high is going to move in and this will see the return of extremely dry conditions.

So the latest weather front and associated rain band will clear overnight and the dry, westerly winds with mostly sunny skies will return for the rest of the week.
