DONATIONS CONTINUE TO POUR INTO THE NORTH WEST
The support continues to flow in to the North West from further afield to support our farmers…
Sisters from south of Sydney, Naomi and Fiona Bennett, have delivered more than $1500 worth of groceries to Tamworth as part of the ‘Doing It For Our Farmers ‘ appeal.
They say the message is breaking regional boundaries into the city, and people genuinely want to help.
“So this started with the donation of some shampoo and conditioner and sugar and salt and all those things, to okay now we understand what’s happening, we need to be able to do something.”
Also a chance to teach the little ones about where their food comes from.
“We showed Imogen about the grass and the places we went through that didn’t have grass and she was concerned that, how would the animals eat…you know, that’s what we explained to her that’s why we’re trying to help out.”
They hope to make another delivery next month.
