Both Rural Fire Service and NSW Fire & Rescue crews have been involved in the fire-fighting efforts.

The blaze started near Thompson Vale Road, with the fire moving in an easterly direction.

It’s already burnt through more than 350 hectares of land, with concern it was suspiciously lit.

Wyong Rural Fire Brigade’s Kevin Martin said, “we’ve had some reports they’ve seen people light the fire, we’ve given those reports to police and detectives and they’re currently investigating.”
