CENTRAL COAST RAIDS UNCOVER $8 MILLION WORTH OF ICE

A man has been charged over the alleged importation of illicit drugs, after ice with a street value of $8-million was located on the Central Coast.

Officers searched six properties at Berkley Vale, Glenning Valley, Terrigal, Tuggerah, and Wamberal yesterday, uncovering 16 kilograms of the drug and $300,000 in cash.

During the raids, a 42-year-old man was arrested at a home in Terrigal.

He was charged with two counts of import commercial quantity of border controlled drug, and will face court later today.
