NINE, ROTARY AND NATIONAL FARMERS TEAM UP FOR DROUGHT RELIEF

The Nine Network is proud to announce its 20-18 Drought Relief Fund, in partnership with Rotary and the National Farmers Federation.

Speaking on the Today Show, NFF President Fiona Simson says people want to know 100-percent of their donations are going to the farmers.

She says they’re currently assessing which charity or charities the new appeal will support.

“We thought that by coming on board with Channel Nine and Rotary, that would give a really great avenue to be able to distribute that money exactly where it’s needed.”

And the Today Show’s Georgie Gardner and Karl Stefanovic will be in the region on Monday morning.

The show will be broadcast live from the Loomberah  Hall.

  1. I am a member of a retirement village and we are proposing to become involved, as a village group, in supporting a drought aid organisation. I have been a farmer all my life and having been through droughts before, I fully understand the situation facing our farmers at the present. We will be having a meeting shortly to formulate just how we will become involved in donating and it will be handy to have some information as to what charity group we will be able to donate to. Would you please get back to me as soon as possible with some information on this subject.
