Police are investigating after a weekend ram-raid in the state’s North West.
It’s understood two people attempted to remove an ATM on Maitland Street at Bingara in the early hours of Sunday morning, using a crow bar, before reversing a ute into the building several times.
The pair fled empty handed, with the vehicle found burnt out nearby.
A second vehicle, believed to be linked to the incident, was found more than 200 kilometres away near Gilgandra.
It was seized by police, along with a trailer located at Bingara.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
