WELCOME RAIN FOR THE NORTH WEST

It may have only been a few millimetres, but the sight of rain has come as a welcome visitor for those across regional New South Wales.

Tamworth recording 3.8 millimetres in the 24 hours to 11 o’clock this morning, while Narrabri recorded just over 7 millimetres.

The light sprinkling, although welcome, means little for farmers with more substantial falls still needed.

Landowners are currently in the grips of one of the worst droughts in recent decades.

Is it raining where you are? We’d love to see your photos and videos, send them in to our Facebook page or email them to jantcliff@nbntv.com.au
