It may have only been a few millimetres, but the sight of rain has come as a welcome visitor for those across regional New South Wales.
Tamworth recording 3.8 millimetres in the 24 hours to 11 o’clock this morning, while Narrabri recorded just over 7 millimetres.

The light sprinkling, although welcome, means little for farmers with more substantial falls still needed.
Landowners are currently in the grips of one of the worst droughts in recent decades.
