A man believed to be in his 30s has been flown to hospital, after being struck by a car on the state’s far north coast.
Emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway at Sleepy Hollow, at around 10 o’clock last night, following reports a man walking along the road had been hit by a passing car.
He was treated by paramedics on scene, before being flown to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
The female driver of the car was uninjured.
